Some activities for the Marketing Coordinator will include developing annual marketing plans in conjunction with various members of the management team. Establishing and operating within the Dealership Advertising and promotional budget. Organizing promotional and special event activities, and taking a leading role in assessing market feedback through the use of customer surveys, market research, and focus groups. Our successful candidate will ideally have: A minimum of 3 years of sales experience in the agricultural and marketing industry. Extensive background in the development and maintaining of marketing strategies. A proven ability to oversee all marketing, advertising, and promotional activities. Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken, and have a good understanding of financial principles relative to Sales Department operations. A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. As a key contact to our customers who are arranging Service related tasks, a high level of professionalism will be required at all times. Duties include the booking and organizing of repairs and technical functions, while understanding the importance of timely turnaround. The Service Writer will also serve as a liaison to John Deere and other main line suppliers for inquires regarding warranty work, and invoicing. In addition to working with customers, the position will have responsibilities to ensure timecards, and hourly allowances are prepared in a timely manner for all service staff for payroll purposes. A good understanding of the process and flow of a large commercial repair shop is critical. Knowledge in the area of Agricultural equipment, as well as Lawn and Garden small equipment would be an asset. There is also a high level of computer use, and skills demonstrated in this area will be beneficial.
